Blood from a Stone is one of a few books I've had the pleasure of reading that I could barely put down. I read this book in 3 days. The writing is crisp, descriptive, sassy, and visual. The characters are memorable, likable, and have dialogue that sounds real. The story is complicated, with twists and turns, and an adrenaline rush during certain segments. I'm already hitting the "buy" button to get a few more of David Salkin's other books. I hope Blood from a Stone is made into a movie. Please, oh please, David, keep writing more stories like this one!
