The Daisy Chain is positively delightful. So much so, I’m not sure where to begin…when you first meet Daisy, she’s about to give her current beau, the heave-ho, and rightly so. And from there, the entertainment continues. The characters are charming, and I loved how Ms. McAllan drew them out, giving us interesting tidbits (character traits) and balancing them with the other characters. The romance, once it happens, is hot and fast, and you’ll enjoy every moment of it. If I had one regret, it’s that I would love this story to be a full-length novel. I had so much fun with the characters, I was sorry to see the story end.
