The writing is EXCELLENT!!! I absolutely adored the tone of this book and the way it was written. Gemma did, in my opinion, an exceptional job of stringing the story together with a just-barely-there hint of sarcasm and a whole lotta real-world-ness that made me love the characters. And I don't need to tell you that this book is five-alarm hot . You can imagine the intensity of ANYTHING involving not one, but two alpha males like that! I've read my share of books like this, but what I really liked about this one was that Cade and Sawyer did NOT like each other. Add to that their very realistic skepticism, and I was very very happy with these smart, realistic characters Gemma created. The imagery in this book was also very well done. The story involves a natural disaster, and I felt like I was right in the thick of it. (I was given this book in consideration of my honest thoughts)
