The storyline switches between the fire burning romantically to the darker more sinister elements, providing an incredible level of suspense. I was kept guessing until the end, ensuring that I read the book without any breaks. The characters are relatable with entertaining dialog. In fact, I'd have to say that their imperfections are actually perfect for the story. I'm excited about starting reading other books in this series.
