  Review by The TBR Pile

It was the way the three characters worked together that made this so special. It was a puzzle with pieces that linked together into a perfect fit.  They had an entire backstory, history and proved to be a real challenge. It made the story fuller and intriguing. I think an epic battle is only as good as your enemy. Ms. Carter delivered in spades on that one. This is a book you won't want to put down until it's finished, and let me say, you may find yourself stunned at it's conclusion.

Having read the first story and enjoyed it, I was delighted to get to read more of Ms. Carter's engaging series. And it was well worth the wait. Their forays into a new relationship are definitely on the higher scale of hot. The plot is always in the foreground too, and the next book will be revealing on that front, given the epilogue. Can't wait to find out...

True North is full of suspense, complex characters, romance and hot sex.  The second installment in Carter’s Red Wolves Motorcycle Club series is better developed than book one while retaining all the best characteristics of the first book.

I enjoyed this book and am diving right into book three.

I loved the way Givon and North never let their lives ruin their friendship, though they were very careful to walk a thin line.  There are several clashes with lots of secondary characters and one decision that will be sure to haunt the Red Wolves in the future.  The author did a good job with the resolution of the major thread involving Allison, though I was surprised by who handled it at the end.

I really enjoyed this story. The characters were great. I really liked their development and bantering throughout the book as they added a third to their friendship and turned it into a relationship. The hot biker, good cop combo was interesting.

I loved this sweet story. The relationship that develops between the three characters is, in my mind, a very realistic one. I loved how each pair had their own relationship. It was not about the three of them figuring out how to work together because North and Givon already had a loving friendship. As far as the mystery within the story - it was a good mystery, if not somewhat predictable. Even though I was able to guess some of the turns that this story, I am looking forward to the next story.
