Preconception is a very good book which will keep you interested from start to finish. The interaction of the characters, and Carolyn’s look into her twin sister’s life allowed you to see what one person would do in order to survive. The attraction between Declan and Carolyn was potent, and when they finally came together it was worth the wait.
Author Aliyah Burke is one of my favorite authors, and for me I know that when I pick up one of her books I will have hours of pure entertainment. The characters are people you can relate to and care about, the storyline will keep you intrigued.
Preconception is a must read in my opinion, it is well written and enjoyable.

This was a fabulous story, unputdownable, and I really enjoyed reading it.
First things first, the title. I was intrigued but it was perfect for the story…I loved the way the author drew Caro and Declan together. The book is beautifully written, with a good supporting cast of secondary characters, and I wonder if other spin-off stories might be in the ether. I’d certainly like to meet Terri and her Russian again. The storyline in Preconception is sharp and strong. The sex is hot too, but never overshadows the core story.
If you like your heroes tough and principled but with a secretly soft centre, and your heroines bright and sassy, this is for you. Preconception was the first book I’d read by Ms Burke – it won’t be the last.
