I've been waiting to read this one, drawn in by the sexy cover and intriguing blurb. I was expecting a lighthearted romance, but this book was so much more. Yes, the sexual chemistry and banter was off the charts hot between Marley and Rick. But the dynamics between Marley and her sisters and mother was extremely well done. The book touched on a dark subject matter which I don't want to spoil, but when it was fully revealed, it made me understand Marley and why she chose to live her life the way she did.

This book had me at the title..and kept delivering! It has been a while since I have enjoyed so many laughs while reading a romance novel. This definitely had some serious heat to it, but not overboard. THE OTHER C-WORD is worth a read and I will admit I reread a few parts more than once..and again seriously funny.
