Ms. Ashton has written a very sexy, steamy novel. The character descriptions were done well for a book of this length. The downside to a novella is sometimes you wish you could read a bit more about the main characters past and get to know them better. Still, Ms. Ashton seem kept me caught up on the important facts. Her words flowed smoothly and before I knew it I was at the end wishing there was more. The plot is well developed and gives you everything a good book should. The sex between Valtarie and Blake is hot and has some very erotic scenes. This novel should come with warning, 'hot erotica content' but that's in a good way. I really enjoyed the scenes where Valtarie took control and showed her dominate side. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys paranormal romance filled with some hot erotica. I can't wait to read the second book in this series.
