Voltaire is a Paranormal with strong powers, yet she doesn't even know what she is. She has been haunted of dreams of a werewolf and knows what it means but doesn't really want to be tied to a mate. She realizes her mate is now in trouble so she goes and finds him. Blake her mate is in the middle of a war. When she shows up he recognizes her as his mate but not knowing what she is or why she shows up at such a critical time isn't sure he can trust her. Do they get together? What is Voltaire? I am not gonna tell you! You will have to read the book. Trust me you will thank me for this one! If you like books about werewolves, soul mates, other new types of paranormal beings, a deep mystery, and lots of action, this has the best of both worlds rolled up and threw into a mystery with lots of action. Well written and fast paced you won't want to put it down until you are finished. I highly recommend this to anyone that likes shifter, werewolves, action, new types of paranormal and hot sex!

Ms. Ashton has written a very sexy, steamy novel. The character descriptions were done well for a book of this length. The downside to a novella is sometimes you wish you could read a bit more about the main characters past and get to know them better. Still, Ms. Ashton seem kept me caught up on the important facts. Her words flowed smoothly and before I knew it I was at the end wishing there was more. The plot is well developed and gives you everything a good book should. The sex between Valtarie and Blake is hot and has some very erotic scenes. This novel should come with warning, 'hot erotica content' but that's in a good way. I really enjoyed the scenes where Valtarie took control and showed her dominate side. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys paranormal romance filled with some hot erotica. I can't wait to read the second book in this series.
