The Vixen of Venice is a totally hot read! Ms. Deveaux has really outdone herself with this one. The portrayal of Venice, its streets, architecture and the canals is stunning. I could imagine myself there, clattering down the cobblestones, seeing the fabulous city through Monique’s eyes. This is a sexy read — keep a fire extinguisher handy!

The author brings so much to this read that starts off slow then sucks you in when you least expect it. You showed that just because it looks like a pig, sounds like a pig it may not be really a pig because hind sight is just that. I couldn't put it down once I started. Always an excellent sign! Alessandro was hot, hot, hot! The very epitome of a sexy alpha male. Monique was incredibly feisty. Scorching, off-the-charts chemistry (and sex) between these two! Curiosity about how and when Monique would be confronted with the big reveal kept me intrigued to the end, as did the art thief angle. I liked my first book from this author and I’m grateful that I have been given an opportunity to read it. I love the kink and the characters. The storyline was perfect for me on a number of levels. I love the suspense and the kink and hope the author does write another book for this imprint but focuses a little bit more on the city and the beautiful hotels. Monique is moving to Venice for her dream job, acquiring art for a 5-star hotel. Her start at Totally 5-star is anything but smooth. However, this wanton tease has some higher-ups looking out for her. Normally suave Alessandro is undercover at this hotel as Luc to look after Monique, protecting his friends interests, as well as his own. These two awaken desires in each other, but will Luc be able to persuade Monique to attempt his predilections? This being a Totally 5-Star hotel book, I knew that the sex scenes would be smoldering, and they definitely did not disappoint. This well-written and compelling story had an intriguing suspenseful undertone to it.
