Ian opened his front door, stepped in and let Peyton pass by. He flipped on the light, illuminating the foyer as he tossed his keys on the side table by the door.
“You have a beautiful home, Michael.”
“Thank you. Would you like the grand tour?”
Peyton set her purse beside his keys. “Is there another option?”
“There are always other options.” Ian chuckled. “Such as me just carrying you to my bedroom. Don’t think I can?” he asked upon seeing the incredulous look on Peyton’s face.
He didn’t give her a chance to respond. Moving forward, he lifted and swung her over his shoulder, smiling at the sound of her startled yelp.
“Put me down, Michael!” Peyton pummelled his back as he carried her down the hall to his bedroom.
“Not yet.”
He swatted her ass and she went limp against him. She smelt like dessert…better than dessert and he was going to savour making her his. He’d left his blinds up—moonlight and city lights kept the room from being completely dark. Ian didn’t bother turning on the light, proceeding straight towards his king-size bed where he gently deposited Peyton. She was breathing heavily, staring at him with those wide brown eyes that would surely hypnotise him if he looked into them for too long.
“You are crazy.” Peyton rubbed her hands on top of his coverlet. “I can’t believe you just did that.”
“I wanted to get a head start on showing you just how well I can handle you.”
Peyton gave him a coy smile. “I think I need another demonstration.”
“You need several.” Ian unbuttoned his shirt, pulled it off then peeled off the T-shirt that had been underneath. “Get over here and put your hands on me, Peyton.”
She hesitated for only a second before rising from the bed. In her heels, she almost reached his shoulders. Ian looked down at her as she lifted her hands and slowly brought them to his chest. She rubbed her palms over his nipples and abs, repeating the sensual caress while staring up into his eyes.
“Is this what you want?” Peyton asked, desire evident in her eyes.
“To start.”
He pulled away from her and walked to the lamp on his nightstand.
“We don’t need any light.”
Ian switched it on, bathing his bedroom in soft light. He returned to Peyton’s side and gently caressed her cheek. “I want to see you.”
